There are many actors in Bollywood who are very good friends.Many film stars are open about their friendships and there are many stars who aren’t friends but foes and Amir Khan and Shahrukh Khan are two such big names in Bollywood.Although Amir Khan and Shahrukh Khan are good friends now, but it wasn’t always the case.
Notably,Shahrukh Khan and Amir Khan hold a distinguished place in Hindi cinema.While Shahrukh is known as ‘King of romance’ ,Amir Khan is called ‘Mr.Perfectionist’.Both have been part of Bollywood since a long time.Both have given a lot of hits and both have a huge fan following.
Let’s talk about what lead to the controversy between the two…
Amir Khan had given a very controversial statement.Few years back, Amir Khan wrote in a blog that Shahrukh Khan is his care-takers’s dog’s name.He said that Sharukh is licking his feet.Shahrukh Khan gave an elegant reply.
Mr.Perfectionist or Amir Khan had written in a blog,a few years back,the blog read,”Shahrukh Khan is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for?”
“Now, before you jump to any conclusions let me add that Shahrukh is the name of our dog. And before you jump to any further conclusions let me add that I had nothing to do with naming him. In fact Shahrukh is the dog of the caretakers of our house.”he added.
Amir Khan had written a few more things in his blog regarding Shahrukh Khan.According to Amir Khan Shahrukh was begging for his attention.He wrote in his blog that his caretaker had bought a pup and named it Shahrukh when Shahrukh (the actor) was shooting for a commercial in this house a few years ago.
He further goes on to say in the end of his blogpost: “Well Shahrukh is once again begging for my attention, so let me get back to him. He is smelling too much, I think he needs a bath. “Heel boy, heel.”
When this controversy reached Shahrukh,he gave an interesting reply.According to media reports,when Shahrukh Khan’s reaction was sought regarding Amir Khan’s blogpost,he said,
“I have never bothered about it because I also say a lot of things in fun and I think I am also may be stressing somebody
else out.”

Later on Amir Khan had apologized to Shahrukh Khan and his family.When Amir Khan was questioned regarding this issue in ‘Aapki Adalat’,Mr.Perfectionist had replied that he never uttered a word against ShahRukh Khan in the last 20 years and never intendes to make such derogatory remarks on SRK.
Closing the chapter, Aamir Khan had even made an unconditional apology to SRK and his family.
Talking about work front,Amir Khan’s upcoming movie is ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ which will be released on Christmas.Whereas Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film is ‘Pathan’ which might get released next year.Shahrukh was last seen in the movie ‘Zero’ released in December 2018 and it was a flop.
