 India Meteorological Department: IMD has said that North India is expected to get relief from the scorching heat soon as Southwest Monsoon is expected to be active over the entire region except South Rajasthan and Kutch region of Gujarat. . On the other hand, heavy to weighty rains have continued in Mumbai for the last four days.

IMD has said that the rain of havoc will continue for now. It is expected that North India, which is getting two or four due to the sultry heat, will also get rid of it soon.

The IMD has said that conditions are favourable for the onset of monsoon over North India by June 15. Therefore, there is a possibility of rain with strong thunderstorms in these areas. Hail may also fall somewhere.

The forecast issued by IMD said that under the influence of East-West Trough, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Telangana, Coastal and adjoining Ghats and adjoining districts, Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka during next 3-4 Heavy to weighty rainfall might occur in this area.
